A man with a gitar. Damn, jeg elsker disse låtene.
Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix
Well, she's walking through the clouds
with a cirkusmind that is running round
Butterflies, zebras and moonbeams
That's all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind
When I'm sad, she comes to me
with a thousand smiles, she gives to me free
"it's allright" she says "it's allright"
Take anything you want from me
Anything
Anything
Fly on, little wing
Sukk. Pur poesi.
The wind cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
After all the jacks are in their boxes
And the clowns have all gone to bed
You can hear happiness staggering on down the street
Footsteps dressed in red
..and the wind whispers Mary.
A broom is drearily sweeping
up the broken pieces of yesterdays life
Somewhere a king has no wife
...and the wind, it cries Mary
The trafficlights they turn
uh, blue tomorrow
And shine their emptiness down on my bed
The tiny Island sags downstream 'cause
the life that lived is, is dead
...and the wind screams Mary
Uh, will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past?
And with this crutch, its old age and its wisdom
It whispers "no, this will be the last"
...and the wind cries Mary
Den der kan jeg høre på repeat en hel dag, klarer rett og slett ikke gå lei. Har ikke klart det så langt, i alle fall.
That's it for now. Jimi sier det så bra.

Hm. Jeg må innrømme at navnet Jimi Hendrix aldri egentlig har sagt meg noe særlig, men skal revurdere å gjøre noe med det nå :-)
mener Jamie Cullum har en versjon av denne, som er hinsides fin!
